61-year-old gentleman about 10 weeks after lower blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery), submental/neck liposuction, and micro-liposuction of the jowls performed by Dr. Sam Gershenbaum. This patient was not ready for more extensive surgery and simply wanted to have a fresher, less tired, and a bit more youthful appearance without major surgery. He mostly did not like the bags under his eyes and the fullness in his neck. He chose not to do his upper eyelids or brows at this time. At 10 weeks post op he likely has a bit of edema/swelling still left over; however, he does not have the large bags under his eyes. The micro-liposuction of his jowls improved things nicely, and his neck is about 55% improved. A more formal neck lift would remove some deeper fat not possible with liposuction, and the muscle under the chin could then be sutured and flattened further. The patient is very happy with his results.
