Christopher Drummond is considered a pioneer in the cosmetic, skin care, and beauty industry since 1994.
In addition to creating his namesake makeup line in 2007, and previously owning a spa in New York City, Christopher’s professional portfolio also includes working as a celebrity makeup artist (having worked with JLO, Kerry Washington, Jane Fonda and Brooke Shields), and as a national trainer for top brands in the beauty industry.
As a licensed medical aesthetician, Christopher is certified in the art of eyebrow embroidery (also known as: microblading, 3-D brow enhancement, semi-permanent tattoo, micropigmentation, hairstrokes). Clients seek him out because of his true artistic talent and the exacting skill set he brings to each set of eyebrows that he customizes through this highly-specialized, semi-permanent technique. He is the originator of the exclusive Brow2 Technique.
With over five years of eyebrow embroidery (microblading) procedures under his belt, Christopher is a master in Eyebrow Embroidery and has worked to help training in the US, while developing the Brow2 proprietary procedure for his clinics.
WHAT IS EYEBROW EMBROIDERY?
Also known as microblading, this is a type of semi-permanent tattoo. We gently apply ink into the skin, so it looks like natural “hairstrokes”. The result is a very natural-looking, beautiful and undetectable result that lasts about 1 year. After the procedure, you only need a touchup once a year.
About Brow2 by Christopher Drummond
This eyebrow embroidery technique was created and is exclusively used by Christopher. This artistic technique includes various styles and techniques of micropigmentation (hairstroke tattoo), including a powder-fill/shading, hairstrokes, and unique design system. Christopher uses both a hand tool and a digital cosmetic tattoo machine to get his beautiful results.
Microblading vs. Micropigmentation vs. Brow2 Technique
As you probably know, microblading is a hot new trend in the beauty industry; however, many people either don’t know what it is, or they get it confused with other forms of Semi-Permanent Make Up (SPMU). Here is a guide to help educate you on the differences.
Micropigmentation: Any form of tattoo that is placed anywhere on the body – this includes traditional tattoos, as well as cosmetic permanent makeup. The practitioner can use any type of device, including a hand tool, digital cosmetic machine, or rotary tattoo “gun”.
Microblading: Uses a non-electric hand tool (it looks much like a pencil) to manually apply realistic hairstrokes into the eyebrow. Microblading uses a hand tool, and is only used to create hairstrokes. Many people use the term “microblading” as a general term for eyebrow tattoo. It is not the same! Microblading is a very specialized technique that takes years of practice to perfect.
Eyebrow Embroidery: This technique gives a similar look as microblading; however it can be created with any type of device or tool. It is mostly used to “embroider” hairstrokes in with existing hair, to give a realistic, fuller look. It may also include slight shading (also called “powder fill”) that looks like light fill-in color applied between the hairstrokes.
Brow2 Technique: This technique was created by and is used exclusively by Christopher Drummond. It incorporates all forms of micropigmentation (microblading, eyebrow embroidery, and powder fill), and uses all types of devices–to give you a customized eyebrow shape, style and truly natural look.
