Case Details
42 year old male from Alabama 2 months after pectoral implants and liposuction performed by Dr Sam Gershenbaum. This gentleman from our US military service presented with the first reported case of Sternal Gap Syndrome (SGS). SGS had reportedly occurred from an improperly fitted body armor vest which caused denervation and atrophy of the central pectoral musculature with resultant deformity. His request was for a normal appearing athletic shaped chest. He is pictured here only 2 months after liposuction of his waist, abdomen, gynecomastia and lateral chest as well as placement of custom extended vertical rectangular pectoral implants provided by Implantec. He will continue to lose the little swelling that remains and develop more definition as the healing comes to fruition. He could not be happier with his results.
