Case Details
A lovely 49 year old woman from Miami, Florida only 6 weeks after a breast lift (mastopexy) using Galaflex Mesh internal bra performed by Dr Sam Gershenbaum. A common problem after a breast lift procedure is the “stretch back” or further stretching of the skin causing recurrent sagging after a relatively short period of time. The use of the FDA approved Galaflex internal bra is a mesh that absorbs over a two year period allowing the newly lifted breasts to fully heal in place without the common stretching of the tissues during the early phases of healing. After only 6 weeks, much of the tape covering the incisions is still in place. She feels like she has the breasts when she was a teenager ! We will post follow up photos later in her recovery / healing to show how the Galaflex Mesh keeps the breasts from recurrent sagging.
