48 year old female from Del Ray Beach, Florida four months after exchange of her breast implants with correction of her capsular contracture performed by Dr Sam Gershenbaum. She presented with bilateral capsular contracture with both breasts hard and painful and the implants displaced high in each breast. She had bilateral full capsulectomies, Strattice interposition and exchange of her implants from 325cc to 275cc smooth, round moderate plus silicone gel implants. The new implants were properly positioned. The Strattice is porcine dermis that is sewn all along the border of the pectoral muscle, to be wrapped over and around the new implant in replacing the old hardened capsule. This keeps the breast soft and prevents the capsular contracture from recurring. Her breast are now very soft and fully natural in appearance. She is extremely happy with her results.
