Case Details
32 year old male from Orlando, Florida one year after a right side pectoral implant to improve the appearance of Poland’s syndrome performed by Dr Sam Gershenbaum. This patient had polands syndrom which is the absence of the pectoral muscle on the affected side. He also had pectus carinatum, which is an over growth of the sternum/breast bone area as well as a degree of gynecomastia on the left side. His surgery included a right side pectoral implant, reduction of the left side gynecomastia and some fat transfer above the right implant. He has a dramatic improvement in appearance. It was recommended to tweak and improve his results even further with fat transfer grafting above and below the right implant and into the right axilla to further blend and make the implant even that more symmetrical and imperceptible.
