Case Details
47 year old male from Iowa 7 months after exchange and repair of pectoral implants performed by Dr Sam Gershenbaum. Patient has a history of left side Polands Syndrome (partial absence of pectoral muscle) with an attempt to improve the appearance of his chest with pectoral implants. The surgeon he went to, however, was not well versed in pectoral implant surgery. The implants were placed in a subglandular/subcutaneous location and ended up too low, and only making things look worse. I removed his old malpositioned implants and placed new conservative sized soft solid silicone vertical rectangular in a corret location under his muscle. Although he still has some deficiency on his left side from the absence of his full muscle, he still has a full athletic normal chest shape. The patient is very happy with his results.
